Toonie Stamps Social at Underscore Projects

Join Jemma Chapman of Toonie Stamps for an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and connection at Underscore Projects.

Designed as a relaxed alternative to traditional networking, Toonie Stamps Social brings people together through simple creative activities, shared ideas, and open conversation.

If you’re part of Toronto’s creative community, working on your own project, or just looking to meet some new people, this is a chance to connect in a more natural and informal way.

When: Saturday, Oct 17 2026 - 2pm-5pm

Where: Underscore Projects - 1468 Dundas St W - 2nd floor - Toronto, ON M6J 1Y6 (Dundas/Dufferin) (Please note that the gallery space is accessible only by stairs)

Tickets: $5 per person (Your ticket is non-refundable and includes a $5 café credit to use at Underscore Projects during this event.)

Put it toward a coffee, drink, a toast or cheese bread, or another café purchase while enjoying the space and the afternoon’s activities.

Afternoon Details 

• 2-3:30 PM · Crafting & Connection

          The afternoon will start with interactive activities to help people ease into conversation, share ideas,  and discover more about one another and the city.

• 3:30-4 PM · Presentation by Jemma

  Jemma will share more about herself, the Toonie Stamps project, and her plans for the coming year - offering an insight into the project, what she has been working on, and what’s ahead.

• 4-5 PM · Q&A & Group Discussion

  The afternoon will wrap up with an open Q&A and group discussion. Bring your questions for Jemma, or open up a conversation with the wider group.

• After the event, everyone is welcome to stick around, grab a drink from the café, check out the art, browse the books, and keep the conversation going.

Photography

Photography and/or video may take place during the meetup for documentation and promotional purposes. Images may be shared on Underscore Projects’ website and social media, as well as by the participating artist.

If you do not wish to be photographed or have your image shared, please let us know when you arrive. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Refund Policy

All tickets are final sale. If you are unable to attend, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance and we can transfer your ticket to a friend or someone you know.

We’re an independent, self-funded space (no grants or external funding), so every ticket goes directly into keeping workshops, creative meetings, exhibition and related activities going and supporting the space for everyone who uses it.
