Toonie Stamps Social at Underscore Projects

Join Jemma Chapman of Toonie Stamps for an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and connection at Underscore Projects.

Designed as a relaxed alternative to traditional networking, Toonie Stamps Social brings people together through simple creative activities, shared ideas, and open conversation. Whether you’re part of Toronto’s creative community, building something of your own, or simply looking to meet new people, this is an opportunity to connect in a more natural and informal way.

When: To be confirmed 2026 - 2pm-4:30pm

Where: Underscore Projects - 1468 Dundas St W - 2nd floor - Toronto, ON M6J 1Y6 (Dundas/Dufferin) (Please note that the gallery space is accessible only by stairs)

Tickets: $5 per person (Your ticket is non-refundable and includes a $5 café credit to use at Underscore Projects during the event.) Put it toward a coffee, drink, or another café purchase while enjoying the space and the afternoon’s activities.

Afternoon Details 

• 2-3:15 PM · Crafting & Connection

  Jemma has created three interactive activities to help people ease into conversation, share ideas, and discover more about one another and the city.

• 3:15-4 PM · Presentation by Jemma

  Jemma will share more about herself, the Toonie Stamps project, and her plans for the coming year - offering an insight into the project, what she has been working on, and what’s ahead.

• 4-4:30 PM · Q&A & Group Discussion

  The afternoon will wrap up with an open Q&A and group discussion. Bring your questions for Jemma, or open up a conversation with the wider group.

Photography

Photography and/or video may take place during the meetup for documentation and promotional purposes. Images may be shared on Underscore Projects’ website and social media, as well as by the participating artist.

If you do not wish to be photographed or have your image shared, please let us know when you arrive. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Refund Policy

All tickets are final sale. If you are unable to attend, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance and we can transfer your ticket to a friend or someone you know.

Registration Note

This event will go ahead with a minimum of 20 registered attendees. If the minimum is not reached, we’ll contact ticket holders and issue a full refund.

Underscore Projects

We’re an independent, self-funded space (no grants or external funding), so every ticket goes directly into keeping workshops going and supporting the space for everyone who uses it.
