Welcome to Blue Butterfly’s Eco Film Summer Camp week.
We are looking forward to spending quality time with your little ones. With a holistic approach our program aims to provide a fun, creative, and memorable experience for all campers.
This immersive and interactive summer camp will introduce children to the fundamentals of filmmaking through hands-on activities and real-life experiences.
Each day will focus on a different aspect of the filmmaking process, allowing participants to develop a critical understanding of how films are created.
By the end of the week, children will have worked collaboratively to create their own short film, which will be screened for parents and caregivers on the final afternoon.
This program will also integrate outdoor activities and a connection to nature, helping children explore filmmaking in natural environments.
This camp is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 10.
Objectives of the summer camp:
- Introduce children to the origins of cinema and visual storytelling;
- Engage participants in hands-on activities that demonstrate key filmmaking concepts;
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking through practical experiences;
- Guide children through the process of developing, acting, filming, and editing their own short film;
- Connect filmmaking techniques to nature and the outdoor environment.
