Unleash your creativity Workshop | Find ways to your own creative process

DrawingTO is back to Underscore Projects with a new workshop!

If you are looking for ways to deal with creative blocks and work efficiently and more confident with your skillset, come join us.

In this workshop you will learn how to take control of your creative process and overcome any artistic barrier by experimenting with a series of inspiring activities and artistic techniques like drawing, collaging, and paper cutting. By the end of the workshop, you will create a “zine” aka “your own artist book” so you can see the evolution of your own creative process. and feel inspired to create more in your daily life.

Things to keep in mind for this workshop:

- Here we don’t teach you how to draw but we will guide you through creative ways to express yourself artistically;

- Be open minded and have fun with the process.

- You don’t need to be a professional artist to join this workshop, we welcome everyone because we strongly believe everyone is creative in their own way;

- As we want to create an intimate space where people can share their work and create good connection with the group, we will have only 10 spots available.

When: Sunday, March 24th from 1:30pm to 4:30pm

Where: Underscore Projects - 1468 Dundas St W - 2nd floor - Toronto, ON M6J 1Y6 (Dundas/Dufferin) - (we are a dog friendly space!)

Who: 16+

What is included: All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you want.

We have limited spots of 10 people.

About the facilitators

Luiza Albertini (@za.albertini) is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist, architect and illustrator based in Toronto. She is inspired by bringing colours to the world and experimenting with different art mediums and materials. As a creator, she develops art pieces that range from digital prints, watercolour painting and textile art. She helps people to bring their ideas to life in visual formats and with creative thinking. Taurus (with moon is Pisces)/Rock Climber and adventurous/ Love a good Croissant+Coffee.

Juliana Bandeira (@ajulianabandza) is a visual artist, illustrator and graphic designer from Brazil. Typography, shapes, publications, and processes led her to focus her practice on Graphic Design. She is passionate about combining her knowledge and experience to help brands, people and institutions visually recognize themselves in the space they want to occupy and connect with their audience: whether it be through creating visual identities, books, magazines, packaging, exhibition design and anything in between Sagittarius/print collector/good coffee is always welcome.
